Radda in Chianti is known for two things. On the one hand, of course, for its central location in the middle of the Chianti wine growing area. On the other hand, as part of the big Eroica group. During this racing bike classic event, the small streets of the community are overcrowded with racing cyclists on old bikes in contemporary clothing and the locals have set up a refreshment stop that will make your mouth water. Even without the event, Radda is worth a stop. Treat yourself to an espresso, a glass of red wine and a snack - afterwards you can continue refreshed.

Radda in Chianti is not only a beautiful (albeit quite touristy) place in Chianti. For us racing cyclists, the streets around the town form a junction that enables a variety of tours.
There are many restaurants and small shops. Anyone planning longer tours in the region will find good places to stop for food, a café or to refill water here.

The small, medieval mountain town of Radda is majestic and enthroned on a high hill.
