A visit is worthwhile not only for the view of the Kleinenztal, but also for the history of the castle, although the highlight is more for hikers or mountain bikers.
The most fun way is the trail there, but the wider, unpaved forest paths around the castle are also not to be underestimated.
The loose, sometimes somewhat rooted forest path, combined with the incline or decline, may overwhelm a classic trekking bike. In addition to wider tires with a lugged tread, appropriate off-road riding technique is also required.
