The Rinderplatzhütte is about 1 km north of the large parking lot at the Gasserhütte and can be easily reached from there via the "Latschenweg" (No. 15) or, more interestingly, via the hiking trails 24/23, some of which are paved with wooden planks. The rustic mountain inn also offers overnight accommodation and is open all year round with a few exceptions. In winter there are marked hiking trails in the immediate vicinity.
