Bike Touring Highlight
The Hegratsrieder See is a bit away from mass tourism and is ideal for swimming. The water quality of the lake is also very good, you shouldn't be put off by the slightly brown color.
The lake is most beautiful when there is no wind, then the small chapel, which is located on a green hill above the lake, is reflected. Unfortunately this chapel is private and cannot be visited.

The Hegratsrieder lake lies between Forggensee and Bannwaldsee and is rather less known. Therefore, the lake is ideal for swimming comfortably away from the crowd. The water quality of the Hegratsried Lake is also very good, you should not be deterred by the slightly brownish color. If you want to go by bike to the lake, you can take a short tour on the Forggensee cycle path (Source: allgai.de)

The 10-hectare Hegratsrieder See lies between Forggensee and Bannwaldsee and is a rather less known body of water. The lake is largely surrounded by forest and one of the largest low-lying grasslands in the Alpine foothills. The Forggensee cycle route runs directly along the east side of the lake; there are also a few car parking spaces. The lake has a very good water quality and is a real bathing option for the well-visited larger waters around Füssen.

Look at the drumlins. A drumlin (derived from Irish Gaelic: droimnín, an elongated hill) is an elongated hill formed by a glacier. The long axis of the drumlin is parallel to the direction of the ice flow, the obtuse side points in the direction from which the ice came. The drumlins were formed under the ice and consist of rubble and rocks pushed up by the glacier. You will find these drumlins in various places in the Alpine foreland where we are now.
