The trail allows you to follow a southern part of the massif to the Pointe de la Grève. You discover the Étang de l'Ayrolle, which is a large, shallow coastal lagoon of 1,320 hectares. This is one of the main bodies of water in the Narbonnaise lagoon complex. It extends between Île Saint-Martin, the salt pans of Gruissan, and the Étangs de Campignol and Bages-Sigean.
