One of the highest wind turbines in Europe is located at 1,400 m above sea level directly on the Sommeralm. The wind turbine is a landmark that can be seen from afar. It generates electricity for 350 households and is therefore a destination for every guest who is interested in the environment.
A display board with information on energy generation by wind power is attached to the wind turbine.
