The source, which ripples like a trickle, was seized at the instigation of chief forester Karl Nicolaus. Today the mixed forest around it is a playground for squirrels, roe deer and wild boar. Most of the spruce trees that stood here have disappeared. There is seating in the form of 2 benches. From time to time a church service is also celebrated here in the summer.
