The Donatic Chapel rises on a small hill about 1 km west of the village on the road to Wasenbruck. The beautiful octagonal, open chapel with pillar arcades and a fine-lined hipped dome roof dates from 1747. Inside there is the baroque statue of St. Donatus on a stone base with an inscription. Tradition tells us about the construction of the chapel: Maria Theresia once drove from Vienna to Mannersdorf during a thunderstorm. On the hill between Wasenbruck and Mannersdorf, a lightning strike killed one of the wagon's draft horses. As a thank you that no one was harmed, Maria Theresia had a chapel built at that location at a cost of 174 guilders.
