The Hindenburg Bridge was a railway bridge over the Rhine between Rüdesheim am Rhein and Bingen-Kempten, named since 1918 after Field Marshal and later Reich President Paul von Hindenburg. The bridge, which was put into operation in 1915, was destroyed in the Second World War and was not rebuilt afterwards.
Since 2002, the remains of the Hindenburg Bridge have formed the easternmost point of the Upper Middle Rhine Valley UNESCO World Heritage Site.
