The watermill stands on a site that was established by the Cistercians over 750 years ago. It is the last remaining mill of the former four mills of the Salveybach.

If you want to stay longer, the Mühle offers holiday apartments, single and double rooms as well as bike accommodation.

The mill itself is certainly neat and the nature around it is picturesquely beautiful, BUT the path to the mill consists of the worst possible ground. Rarely have I seen such a route that is so unfriendly to bicycles.

Very rough... well, they weren't even paving stones. Rather coarse pebbles.

I took a few photos of it.

Recommendation:

Don't go to the mill. The more than strenuous terrain is not worth it.
