Wonderful hiking and cycling path along the Leutascher Ache, never steep but always with breathtaking mountain views. Here there is still almost untouched nature with crystal clear mountain lakes and some alpine pastures that invite you to take a short - or longer - breather!

Great, easy tour starting from Leutasch, between Wetterstein and Mieminger chain, slightly uphill towards Ehrwalder Alm / Ehrwald / Seebensee.
Magnificent views, quiet corners, wild water, nice refreshment stops in the Gaistal, Hämmermoos or Ehrwalder Alm.

On the descent through Gaistal you should not only enjoy the downhill rush, no, in between times to slow down and enjoy the great scenery, it's worth it !!

The Gaistal is always worth a tour, whether as a driveway to the Ehrwalderalm or as a descent.

In winter - in the snow 🏔 you can walk a bit with the hikers on the toboggan run 🛷. The tobogganers come towards you - and because I'm only tolerated anyway, I expected everything with the tobogganists and hikers. But soon it goes left along the Ache.

Beautiful alpine pasture with beautiful views, good for walking and cycling. The last 150hm very hard to cycle, better push or leave the bike before it gets steep.

The tour is best in autumn - starting in October. The way back through the Gaistal is quite shady in some places, so I strongly recommend you a jacket.
