From the 13th century, a stately home and a farm existed in Mussain. Later, the lords of the place built a real castle there (14th or 15th century?), Of which we still have a representation of around 1600 in the famous Albums de Croy.
This medieval castle was replaced by a more recent building, of which absolutely nothing is known. Finally, the last castle, in a neo-classical style from the 18th century, was demolished in the 1950s. Today only the farm remains, the outbuildings of which were transformed into opulent housing.
