The dried up water fall leading out from here is not rideable up or down unless you’ve got a full Sus MTB and balls of steel!! Not sure why it’s on a national cycle route?! The other side of the river however is beautiful!

As of October 22 the climb out has been resurfaced however heavy rain soon after has washed some of the loose gravel down into piles, though it's still far more rideable than previously
(update 05/24) the trail has been cleared up and is rideable if you have the legs

It may be a pretty area but the route in/out is nothing but a rocky and steep hiking trail that you’ll probably end up walking
