It’s fascinating to know and learn that this place once was use as a summer hut a very long time ago.
On a clear day you can appreciate the horizon and you can manage to see a lot of places from all four sides of the tower.

Billinge Hill Tower on a good day offers views over to rivington and the Lancashire Moors and in the opposite direction views of the hills in North Wales. Always question the position of the trig point!
