Walking in solitude - yet close to Victoria and within easy reach. Wild romantic way over hill and dale - up and down. Definitely wear good shoes! Well signposted; great views of the Olympic peninsula; beautiful beaches and many arbutus or strawberry trees with the reddish bark. If you park a second car at the western end, you can do the complete trail in one day - otherwise no bus etc. is available here. But the way back through the forest is nice too!
