Bike Touring Highlight
Built in 1929/30 by Hubert Ritter, the Rundling in Lößnig is today one of the architectural icons of modernism in the Weimar Republic. Ritter arranged his houses in three concentric circles to give them a communal center and offered in them 300 apartments with 13 different, south-facing floor plans. That was luxurious at the backyards where most tenants came from and it was trend-setting for municipal housing construction.
