The Mittagsfels has a small but fine alpine route with a fascinating view of the Palatinate mountains.
In spring the pasque flowers bloom here (do not pick them - are under nature protection!).
Please do not leave the path in the nature reserve!

The Mittagsfels nature reserve is around 21 hectares in size and has narrow paths.
On the ascent, wide views of the Steinalbtal and Glantal open up - and the whole thing in wonderful silence.
In early spring you can admire the pasque flower, which is under nature protection and very rarely found. The rock gets its name from its orientation, as it is in the full sun, especially at lunchtime, and thus has a particularly warm and dry microclimate. In times of war, the Mittagsfels was also used as a lookout point, as it offers wide views of both valleys.
Don't go astray!
