The path along the lake is quite narrow. In some places, you have to duck a bit to get under the bushes. But you're (almost) right by the lake and often have views of it, perfect for watching the waterfowl. The Heubach stream runs along the other side, and you can also find birds in the wetlands, especially geese in winter.

This nature trail is truly beautiful. The alternative would be to walk in a larger radius around the lake, mostly on paved farm roads.
