Montleart, French aristocratic family who settled in Vienna at the beginning of the 19th century. Jules Max Thibault Count Montleart (1787-1865) married Maria Christine Princess of Saxony-Kurland († 1852), widow of Duke Karl Albert of Savoyen-Carignan, in 1811, was raised to the rank of prince in 1822 and bought the castle on the Gallitzinberg in 1824 ( 16, Savoyenstraße 2; Wilhelminenberg Palace), which he had redesigned (the open pavilion closed, two side wings added in 1838).

The Montléart mausoleum is located on Gallitzinberg (Wilhelminenberg) at Savoyenstraße 2 in Vienna's 16th district of Ottakring and is a listed building.
The burial chapel is located in the palace gardens of Wilhelminenberg Palace. It was built for Moritz Fürst Montléart in 1887, and his wife Wilhelmine was also buried here. The mausoleum is a neo-Gothic, sarcophagus-shaped complex on a sloped base with a pitched roof and a stone cross.
Since some trees and shrubs have been cut, it is now easier to see than before.

The burial chapel commemorates the former owners of Wilhelminenberg Palace, in particular the founder of the Wilhelminenspital.
