The Gürbe between Wattenwil and Blumenstein is ideal for a stopover in the warm summer months. Especially for families with children, this section is almost predestined for staying and picnicking. During this time the children can play "Bächli Stauen" to their heart's content.

You drive over this old wooden bridge to get to the hill that leads to Uebeschisee and Amsoldingersee. Shortly after the bridge you drive past the ditting mill, so it's worth taking a break in the coffee. A visit to the shop is also recommended, baking very good flour for bread yourself.
