The Forcella d'Arcia is a crossing point of the Flaibani Path, which circumnavigates Monte Pelmo, and of the Alta Via delle Dolomiti 1. Before arriving here you have to cross a series of very exposed rocky passages.

There are at least 3 small bits near the pass that are quiet technical, very steep and therefore dangerous. Don't attempt if you are not experienced. Rocks falling is not uncommon. A little bit of 3 to for limb climbing action is also required. The higher it gets, the less well maintained the path becomes. Numerous small landslided relocated bits of the path from time to time. Again: very steep, technical, and poor path condition.

It is better to take the path in the reverse direction x steep slopes in the gully that leads to the river city refuge
