The Taja Kante via ferrata is one of the most scenic via ferratas in Austria. The very well laid out route - which almost always follows the edge - is a successful mix of action passages and flat sections to enjoy the view.

Due to its length of 580 meters in altitude and its exposed location on the edge, it should not be attempted in uncertain weather.

A beautiful via ferrata, always along the edge. The ridge features long sections with easy scrambling or walking terrain. The upswings are easily manageable with some climbing technique. Occasionally, switch to the other side of the rope; it becomes easier. The slightly exposed traverses are magnificent. Even though the difficulty never lasts long, the total length of the via ferrata shouldn't be underestimated.

Long and demanding (difficulty D to D / E, about 600hm), but wonderfully designed via ferrata always along the ridge to the front taja's head. Over the entire route you have a great view of the Zugspitze massif, the Seeben and Drachensee and the surrounding peaks.

The climb is super insured, has few artificial steps and a very grippy rock, which makes climbing a lot of fun
