The red is a left tributary of the cooker of about 37 kilometers in length in northern Baden-Wuerttemberg, which moves in the east to southeastern direction almost the entire length of the natural park Schwäbisch-Franconian forest and opens at Gaildorf-Unterrot. To distinguish it from other rivers of the same name, some of which are quite close, it is sometimes called Fichtenberger Rot.
