The Lüneburg Heath Wildlife Park in Hanstedt-Nindorf is one of the largest animal parks in Germany and has over 1,200 animals from 140 species on 60 hectares, including rare animals such as Siberian tigers, snow leopards and arctic foxes. With bird of prey shows, wolf feedings, petting enclosures and adventure playgrounds, the park offers an exciting experience for the whole family - if you want to stay longer, you can stay overnight in the cozy shepherd's village with apartments and shepherd's wagons right next to the wildlife park.

Heide Himmel is the new attraction at the Wildpark Lüneburger Heide. Opened in September 2019, there is the possibility to experience nature differently at 700 m above a tree top path. From the observation tower, which is more than 40 m high, you have a beautiful view of the Lüneburg Heath and with good visibility you can see until Hamburg.
