Ski jump and defensive wall from 1720 and bunker from 1940.

Skåne has been a border province since the Middle Ages. There are all kinds of defenses from different times. On the beach areas north and south of Barsebäckshamn there are ski jumps and defensive walls from the 1720s. They were part of a coherent line of defense on the west coast and were popularly known as Karl XII. The hill here is 26x30 meters and up to 2.5 m high. It consists of an almost square surface and is surrounded by a wall. In the east there is an opening about 3 m wide and you can see the indication of a moat.

Right next to the hill there is a moderna defense system, namely a weir that once belonged to the Schonen line. This line is usually called the Per Albin Line after the then Prime Minister Per Albin Hansson. Construction of this fortification line, which runs along the coast, began in 1939. The basic unit was completed in 1940.
