This was one of my very favourite sections along the Arizona Trail – not just because of the name. The rolling hills with the majestic Saguaro cacti are a real desert paradise.

Next to the Grand Canyon, the image of giant Saguaro Cacti reaching for the sky with mountains in the background is probably what most people think of when they imagine Arizona. Here in the Tortilla Mountains those types of views are around every corner, so be sure to stop for a picture or ten so you can take the memories home with you.
