Grmečica Waterfall is a 7 meter high waterfall, the last of the waterfalls in the Grmečica streambed. It is located not far from the right bank of the Sava Bohinjka, between the settlements of Log in Bohinj and Nomenj. The Grmečica stream is about 1.5 km long; it originates about a kilometer above the 100m long gorge of the Grmečica gorge. From the Grmečica waterfall, it flows through forest and pasture terrain and empties into the Sava at Nomnje. The closest access to the waterfall is via the footbridge at the Nomenj Railway Station (15 minutes walk) or from Log in Bohinj (30 minutes walk), and the latter route has become controversial due to the crossing of private land and pastures in Log. In the Grmečica riverbed, a canyoning sports and adrenaline activity is organized in the summer.Within one kilometer there are also Pirašiški slap (Log), Bezenski slap and Koritniški slapovi (Nomenj).
