Hiking
This small town has forged its history around wood. Craftsmen there specialized in the manufacture of Comtois clocks. There is still a woodwork there today. And its name, Bois d'Amont comes from the fact that it was built upstream from the abbey of Saint-Claude whose monks were responsible for clearing the woods.
In summer as in winter the village has a certain charm.
