In Fürstenberg, the town church with its yellow clinkers on the market square is very present.
After a devastating conflagration in 1807, the church was rebuilt by the architect Friedrich Wilhelm Buttel 1842-1848. It has a peculiarity, it is against the convention. The tower to the east and the choir to the west, usually the other way around.
