Bike Touring Highlight
The Cafe Merano on Gut Kerschlach has since 2018 new tenants. You can reach the cafe very well in a half-hour walk from Pähl 3 km away. The beautiful large terrace is on sunny days a real feel-good place with a great view up to the Zugspitze.
Good Kerschlach is easy to reach due to the good connection to the B2 for cars / buses and therefore especially on weekends often very well visited - of course also applies to the cafe!

The agricultural estate Kerschlach is located between Ammersee and Starnberger See, in the immediate vicinity of the leading from Starnberg to Weilheim B2. The farm can also be reached on foot or by bike from Pähl (3 km) and Erling (5 km). It has a great view from the south to the Zugspitze.
Kerschlach was first mentioned in 1159 as "Cherslo" (cattle pasture in the wetland). Since 1997 the Gut Kerschlach is owned by the publisher Werner Mützel (WEKA-Fachverlag). It is predominantly home to horse stables and equestrian facilities, i.a. but also a church with a beautiful herb garden and the Bakery Kasprowicz, which offers its excellent pastries in the affiliated Cafe Merano. Gut Kerschlach is a happy and v.a.am weekend well-visited destination and desöfteren venue of public events.
