The Witthoh offers fantastic panoramas over the Hegau, the Alb and sometimes even as far as the Alps. It is also a European watershed.

The Witthoh is Tuttlingen's local mountain and rises south of the city on the Danube. The mountain range also serves as a watershed, and the northern drains consequently flow via the Danube into the Black Sea, while the southern slopes of the range drain towards Lake Constance. At the highest point there is an SWR transmission mast, visible from afar, which can also be reached by racer.
The character of the mountain is just as different: While the north side is significantly more forested, the southern slopes and the summit are free of disturbing trees and, on a clear day, provide great panoramic views across Lake Constance from the Zugspitze in the east to the Bernese Alps with the Eiger , monk and virgin. The volcanic cones of the Hegau such as Hohenstoffel and Hohenhewen can be seen just as strikingly closer. This panorama gives rise to the reputation as one of the most beautiful panoramic mountains in the region, which has also thrilled the second most famous Hesse (at QD).
