The mill trail is important evidence of paper production in the Ascher Ländchen. The history of regional paper production goes back to the 16th/17th centuries. century back. The assembled fragments of the former paper mill consist of the mill's foundation, a moat, a stone mill, a collection basin dating to 1750, and a mixing basin. The ceremonial unveiling of the nature trail was in 2015.
