Very nice inn with great views of the mountains and to the Chiemsee. For children there is enough space and possibilities to let off steam. The prices are good. The view also makes the climb worthwhile. The trails are well done and do not require special equipment (in summer)

Pretty little chapel at the Aster Alm. The park bench next to it offers a very nice view to rest and enjoy.

A really very nice and above all view which is worth the climb. Since the path is very steep you should bring good condition here. I would recommend walking shoes.

Is it still the case that the host does not welcome MTB guests?

Very beautiful view. Very hospitable with very good cuisine. The Kaiserschmarrn can only be recommended. And the hike is not difficult and also suitable for children. The horses in the pasture are also very nice to look at.

Although you often only feel like having a little snack, you should try more here. In the meat dishes you can tell that most of the ingredients come directly from the farm. The goulash is the best far and wide, including every economy on the ground. Inside you can also buy cheese and meat to take home. The Kaiserschmarrn has often been praised here, the Auszognen (lard noodles) have literally been a legend for decades.Local, personable and child-friendly!P.S .: The Rehleitenkopf is worth a nice detour, often cows, sheep and AND horses graze. :-)
