The lock chamber of the Büssau lock is bricked. No sheet pile wall in which the fenders disappear!
Coming from the Trave, the Büssau lock is the first lock on the Elbe Lübeck Canal. Coming from the Elbe, it is the last lock that you have to pass on the way to Lübeck and the Baltic Sea.

The bridge over the Elbe-Lübeck Canal at the lock Büssau will be demolished from the end of September 2017 and will be replaced by a new building.
