The parish church of St. Mary's Assumption in Warburg-Altstadt is a compact three-aisled hall from the end of the 13th century on an almost square floor plan. The west tower is half inserted into the nave. The main choir consists of a narrow yoke and 5/8 ending, while the secondary choirs are only three-sided niches cut out of the wall thickness, so they are not visible from the outside. The interior has two bays, the room appears wide and free. The equipment is from different eras. I found the tower entrance open.

The church of the Catholic Old Town parish consists of a three-aisled, two-bay hall nave with a chancel on the central nave made up of a narrow antechamber and five sides of the octagon and flat side chancels on the side aisles that are closed on three sides and do not protrude from the outside. Half of the sturdy tower is included in the west bay of the nave.
