Great views from Kinsman Pond up Kinsman Ridge Trail to South Kinsman. On the day we went it was hot (mid 80's F) at Kinsman Pond. With no shade and no wind on the ridge trail, it was very easy to get overheated. If the weather is like that, bring more water than you think you will need! I brought 3 liters and ran out at Lonesome Lake Hut, which was unfortunately closed at the time.
