    Hiking

Waterwheel Falls is the largest of all waterfalls created by the Tuolumne River. It contains a series of small ledges. When strong gusts of wind lift part of the spray and blow it back upward, it gives the imagination of a waterwheel. This phenomenom gave the falls its name.
