Running

The Palm Garden is located about two kilometers west of the center of Leipzig. It is bordered to the north by the Jahnallee, to the east by the Richard Wagner Grove, to the south by Karl-Heine-Straße and to the west by the Kleine Luppe and the Lützner Straße. Until its backfilling in 1920, Kuhburger Wasser formed the western border of the Leipzig Palmengarten instead of Lützner Straße.

Cycling

With the exception of a planned memorial site, the grove was completed during World War II. Parts of the facility were removed in the 1950s. A 225 meter long dry stone wall and the western flower terrace with a water basin have been preserved.
In the 1990s, the stairways and pergolas were repaired. The flower terrace is framed by a spacious pergola renewed in 1992.
