The Pordoi pass, at an altitude of 2,239 metres, connects Trentino to Veneto. It is located between the Sella group and the Marmolada group. The Pordoi pass has been tackled more than 40 times by the Giro d'Italia: its hairpin bends were the scene of the first great victories of Bartali and Coppi.

The pass connects Arabba, a hamlet of the municipality of Livinallongo, with Canazei, a municipality in the province of Trento. Along the descent towards Canazei you can connect with the Sella pass, turning right after 6.5 km and climbing for 5.5 km, to reach Val Gardena

Coming to the Dolomites and not coming up here is a crime. A fairytale pass, especially if approached from the Sella side (or coming from Canazei) envelops you with its forest, worthy of a fairy tale. The descent towards Arabba is a spectacle. To be done at least once in a lifetime!
