Undoubtedly, Baude Samotnia (Small Pond Pond) is one of the most beautiful huts in Poland. Located in the midst of a so-called glacier karst with more than 200 m high cliffs above the Small Pond, the house offered shelter to a goatherd over 400 years ago. Later, a trout farm was added. The earliest mention of a weather badger for a guard who protected the fish in the pond from poachers dates back to 1670. In 1861, the cottage was adapted to the needs of tourism. The current appearance of the small pond construction after its reconstruction in 1934. It is considered the oldest building in Silesia.
