The plan was to hike a bit from the Wiedener Eck on the Westweg in the direction of Notschrei, in order to hike around the Hörnle after about 3/4 hour and return to the Wiedener Eck. Unfortunately, nothing came of the circular route, as the farmers fenced off the Westweg (or their pastures) and so they could only go there and back on the Westweg.
The area north of the Wiedener Eck is therefore not suitable for circular hikes.
