The Big Ears of the Cold War. Surrounded by the Apennine massif of Alpe di Succiso, one of the former NATO Ace High bases, abandoned in the 1990s, stands on top of Monte Giogo. A ride / walk to recall the time when encrypted codes were sent to all NATO bases in the Mediterranean.

One of the most particular points of the whole Tuscan-Emilian Apennines. Here you will be able to see the abandoned repeaters of a former NATO base, in a unique and suggestive landscape.
