Beauvoorde Castle is one of the best kept secrets in the Westhoek. The castle is located in the village of Wulveringem near Veurne and was probably founded in the 12th century. The last castle owner, Arthur Merghelynck, passed by in his carriage on a Blue Monday and was immediately enchanted.
