The Winklmoosalm, made famous by Rosi Mittermaier, also has its special charms in the other three seasons. It is an ideal starting point for long hikes, mountain bike and bicycle tours, but also for relaxing walks through quiet mountain forests and across sunny alpine meadows. In addition, the Winklmoosalm is home to numerous hiking trails and the first German “Nordic Walking High Area”, a signposted Nordic walking route (5.6 kilometers) that offers the advantage of altitude training.
