On the road between Nieder-Werbe and Scheid (the Wanderparkplatz) is the "Europahain". Each of the 25 EU member states (as of May 2004) is represented by three typical tree species. The countries and their tree species are explained by small information boards. The focal point of the arboretum is the "European Stone". Benches and a gazebo invite you to linger.
