One of the bells was cast in 1444 and still hangs in the 30 meter high church tower. It is the second oldest church bell in the Tecklenburg district. The next older bell dates from 1770. The large bell had to be given up in 1942 for armament purposes. It was not replaced until 1955.

    Hiking

From a distance you can see the church protruding from the trees. For the first time there was a chapel in Wersen around 1150, the Wersen church has been changed over and over again over many years and, as you see it today, was completed at the beginning of the 20th century.
