The oldest surviving parts of the castle are the double gates from the early 12th century with the kennel from the 16th century, as well as the castle cellar, which also dates from the 16th century.
In April 1945 a fire destroyed parts of the tower and the manor house. Other buildings were approved for demolition during the GDR era.translated by
