The Roseburg is not a castle or ruin in the traditional sense. Rather, it is a castle-like park squeezed into a corset of castle walls. Fantastic sculptures, pools and fountains invite you to dream. The Harz mountains are greeted from the lookout tower. There is a cafe on the premises. The Roseburg has opening hours, admission is chargeable. There is a parking lot directly in front of the castle entrance. Other destinations nearby are Ballenstedt Castle or the Selketal.

The Burg is a good starting point for hikes but also a tip for people who cannot hike for long.
There is also a nice café open every day from 12 noon to 6 pm.
The parking lot with many additional bike racks in front of the castle is free for guests and there is also a special stamp from the Harzer Wanderadel (castles and palaces). The stamp point 61 of the Harzer hiking needle ("Harzer Grauwacke") is not far away
