    Tips

Whiteside Pike was the first of 9 tops on the Bannisdale Horseshoe. We approached it from the south over good tracks which led to visible paths in the grassy hillside. Whiteside Pike has a columnar cairn that stands very proudly indeed! However, the highest point of the fell is the rock 1.5m east of the cairn.
