The 96 m long bridge was only built in 1948 instead of a wooden bridge. It consists of eight arches. A Nepomuk figure adorns the Wörnitzstein Bridge. The bridge was completely renovated in 1983/85 and in June 1985 by Mayor Dr. Handed over to Alfred Böswald.
